What a great question! I want my roots to grow deep into Him and my life to built on Him. I need God more today than yesterday.
Great reminder - Let His roots grow deeper.
Hi there - thanks for stopping my 'My Unassuming Life'! :)What a wonderful verse!! Something we need to remember daily!!
It's always good to check out the root system. Love these verses! Thanks for this encouragement!
What a great reminder. Sometimes, our "foliage" may look great, but if our root system is damaged, only God can fix it!Thank you for this, and have a great day!
Great post... praying that my roots go ever deeper in Him!
Great post! I want my roots with God to go deep.
Love that! If we aren't rooted in Him we'll blow over like a Bradford Pear tree in a thunderstorm ;-)
Jesus... I want my roots to grow down deep into YOU and I want my life built firmly on YOU! Awesome WFW!
Ok Kelli, What a sweet encouragement for this Word-Filled Wednesday! I remember memorizing those uplifting and encouraging Bible verses when I was a young Christian. I would "sit" on them for "a spell" and just meditate on them, bask in them. And they continue to bless me today - 30 years later! And I LOVE what you wrote at the end! Isn't that the most awesome part of the Word of God! That He wrote it just for you and me! What a blessing! Thank you! :)
This is a great scripture and illustration to go with it! Thanks for visiting and commenting on my WFW post today. You have encouraged me. :)
We all must be rooted and grounded in the word of God and rooted with applying the scriptures to our lives every day.
Amen! Beautiful reminder from the Word...
What a wonderful verse you've chosen! With a firm foundation in Christ, the whole being becomes strong against the world.Have a Blessed Day!
