"Notice Me" by Kelli Zaniel

Do you ever feel invisible? Have you ever asked the question, “Does anyone ever notice me?”

Sorting laundry;

Wiping noses;

Unclogging drains; and

Wal-Mart trips.

Is all my hard work in vain? Does anyone notice? Yes, sweet sisters, God notices you.

He notices our patience when someone brakes in line. He notices when we want to yell but instead keep our mouths closed. He notices when we want to give up but keep going instead.

He notices the days we might not feel like being God's girls. He notices when we turn off a T.V. show to spend time with Him. He notices when we lay down our baggage and pick up our cross.

God is mindful. God is near. God cares about you.

He pays attention. He sees when we are living for Him. He notices when we are standing at a distance. He knows when we need a little discipline.

He knows what we need when we need it.

The Creator of the Universe is head over heels in love with you. He is armored up and ready to defend you. He is personally involved in his perfect creation.

GOD, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand.
I'm an open book to you;
even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking.
You know when I leave and when I get back;
I'm never out of your sight.
You know everything I'm going to say
before I start the first sentence. I look behind me and you're there,
then up ahead and you're there, too—
your reassuring presence, coming and going. This is too much, too wonderful—
I can't take it all in!
(Psalm 139:1-3, The Message Translation)

  1. Thank you for that reminder that God notices me... why is it so easy to get lost in life and forget that He's with me through it all? Love you!
