And the Winner Is...

Okay, girls... I took all of the names that commented on the blogspot and several names that sent emails and let my daughter Savanna draw the name! And the winner of Lysa's new book is, Melissa Harrison! I pray that God will place His heart on yours with a specific burden that only He can fulfill as he works constantly and daily in and through you. No matter how your day began, praise God that you are here today with the ability to further His kingdom by giving of yourself for the benefit of others. Sometimes we can get so caught up in our own mundane "stuff," that we don't recognize that there are people out there whose lives are hanging in the balance as God waits on our response to Him. Even if you aren't 100% sure that God is asking you to do something, if He would be pleased by your doing it, do it anyway!

As Julie Tatem said in her email yesterday, the 25 days of giving is too hard for us in our own strength. We must rely on God's strength because we are to weak to do it alone! Remember, radical giving and biblical living are 2 things that shove us out of our comfort zones and into uncomfortable places. But praise God for theses uncomfortable places as they are the places where we see radical blessings and the Creator of the Universe is glorified! Don't forget Heidi will post a blog tomorrow for encouragement in our new mission of 25 days of giving....

"The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth," (2 Chron. 16:9) looking for someone who is commited to Him that He can use and strengthen who will say, "Here I am, send me," (Isaiah 6:8)!
